First check on /etc/apt/sources.list need universe and multiverse

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install kubuntu-restricted-extras

Setup LAMP on Kubuntu 9.04 (Is the same on Ubuntu 9.04):

sudo apt-get -y install mysql-server apache2 libapache2-mod-php5 php5 php5-mysql
